When did you begin working for Journeys Within ?
I’ve been working for Journeys Within for 5 years. I find JW is a family rather than a tour company.
What do you like about being a guide?
I meet a lot of people and learn more about different cultures. I like showing my client about the architecture, culture and history, as well as every-day life in Cambodia.
What is the most challenging part about being a guide?
Sometimes it is difficult to read a clients mind or understand what they want. It is hard when people are rude.
What is your favorite thing to show guests?
I like to show the ancient ruins, to show people them in comparison of architecture, art or carving in the temples.
What kind of things do guests want to talk about with you?
They mostly ask about the living culture, how people earn their living, and what the major income of the country is and how peaceful of a country this is n0w.
What food / restaurants should guests try?
Khmer food and Haven Restaurant.
What should guests coming to Siem Reap know?
The ruins, the living activities or the lake. Also more about participating more in the real activity with the Khmer.

Friendly and interacting with more questions while we explain the answers. Those guests respect our culture and people.
