Famous for its Angkorian temples, it is easy to overlook some of Siem Reap’s newer and less traditional attractions. Thanks to Kate, Cambodian staffers got the chance to experience the road less traveled when Siem Reap Quad Bike Adventure took the crew out for an afternoon of their four-wheeling fun. A great way to see the countryside, the team enjoyed steering their way through Siem Reap’s dusty roads.
While Leak tapped into her need for speed, Linda surprised the team with her better-than-average driving skills. As much fun as the four-wheeling experience is, and the wheeling around certainly is a blast, the sunset trip was an excellent reminder of the rural beauty Cambodia is famous for.
Leaving the restaurants, guesthouses and busy streets behind, the team spent the afternoon watching water buffalo head home from pasture and waving at eager children in the villages. Grateful for the break from the norm, the trip was a pleasant and needed reminder of the kinds of experiences we look to offer our guests.
