Culture Sensitivity

Last week 6 staff from Journeys Within Tour Company and Boutique Properties went to join the training course of “Culture Sensitivity”. Cambodians have some strict culture, for example we can’t touch anyone’s head even if they are younger or older than you. We believe that the head is the top part of the body that contains knowledge and if anyone touches it, it can mean 2 things- 1 that person is looking down at you and 2 is to make you turn to crazy or to lose your memory. This is what we believe. We also learned about other countries’ culture as well.

We learned a lot from this training and it’s made us understand how to respect others culture and how to tell the difference between Cambodia and other countries’ culture. This is a great training  event that I attended.
