It must be close to 10 years ago that I first contacted Journeys Within re a solo trip to Cambodia. I had read about the company in the New York Times travel section and kept the article.
I was traveling from India and missed my connection to Bangkok and then to Cambodia. I emailed you or your husband immediately about my mistake.” No problem “said one of you. Take the next flight out of Delhi to Bangkok and buy a ticket to Cambodia and we will meet you.
What wonderful support. I was so nervous but followed the directions and sure enough I got off the plane in Siem Reap and there was Mr. Sina to meet me and take me to my hotel.
Mr. Sina was a wonderful guide and his English was perfect. I still have his card. I saw so much in such a short time. I remember coming to the guest house for lunch and being squeamish about eating. You showed me the water filtration system in the kitchen and explained how the helpers were trained to handle the food properly. I was very impressed and continue to speak about my experience even today.
I recommended you to my son-in-law and he actually stayed in one of the guest cottages and was very happy.
I do look forward to another experience with Journeys Within in the near future.
