The pump room is set to be torn down tomorrow, and today the pylons have started to go in. The giant machine that pounds them into the ground is incredibly loud and annoying, but hopefully they will be done with it in the next day or two. Our poor UGA students have to listen to it during the day, but I think it is making them get out and explore more! Silver lining people…

All of this work is in the name of having our beautiful new suites, so its worth the noise and annoyance. Soon the construction noise will be replaced with more guests, families and travel groups.
Lets just hope the lightening storms that keep passing through avoid the giant metal structure in our back yard.
