Photo Friday – March 20

It’s been a busy week and we have a lot of diversity…from bears up trees, to traditional weddings, to a helmet obsession. Here’s our week in photos:

Philippa Nigg/Tour Consultant/Truckee, CA

Philippa says, “We went skiing today and look what we saw up a tree. It’s a bear! There are three of them up there, we think they were waiting for everyone to go home before they came down.”

April O’Connell Cole/Tour Consultant/Truckee, CA

April says, “Truckee is full of all sorts of outdoor activites and fun places to visit, but sometimes you just want to hang out and enjoy a nice book and a great cup of coffee. Here’s some pics of one of my favorite places in Truckee, Truckee Book & Bean. Located in Old Town next to the Truckee river, hosting friendly baristas and a great collection of new and used books and DVDs – this is about as much as a girl like me can ask for. Any given Sunday when I’m not running about, you’ll likely find my whole family here, lounging about in the children’s book section, reading books and drinking a mocha or a hot cocoa – cheers!”

Kwanchanok “Jeab” Meechai/Thailand Director/ Bangkok, Thailand

Jeab says, “I went to Siam Ocean World after work last Saturday. It’s enjoyable to walk around when I don’t know what exactly I want to do before going home. Siam Ocean world is located on the basement floor of Siam Paragon and it’s just so easy to get there. I can just jump in the sky train from where I work just 2 stops then get off. There is a lot kind of fish which I never ever seen before.

When I am close to the aquarium I love to imagine swimming like fish. It must be very enjoyable swimming in the water all day all night, but unlucky for them now the ocean temperature getting hotter. I hope it’s not too late to save the world for now.”

  1. Oh no! The bears are out of hibernation??! But there’s still snow! Back to being paranoid one is going to break into my car to try to find itself some dinner. EEK!

Oh, and how much do I love Callie’s style? Pearls, Mommy’s glasses and hat, AND braided piggie tails?! – Fancy Callie.

  2. I think Couper in his helmet – ready to give a head butt is far more dangerous than that cuddly little bear!
