I was very excited to hear Andrea was giving me the opportunity to travel to Singapore. It would be my first time to this country. I heard Singapore is very clean and a beautiful country, so it’s my turn to have an adventure.
Exactly that I been expect to see and more. I can tell Singapore is a beautiful country and the people living in the modern life. The public transportation is very organized with a smooth process. It’s a very clean country with good environment with the combination of building and trees along the road. There are a lot of shopping centers that made it easy to buy stuff there.

I went to see the ITB Asia Conference, the trade show of the Asia Travel Market. There were many companies in the tourism industry that came to set up the booths and sell their product. It felt great to be there because I can see how people present their products from different properties. There were a lot of them such as ministries of tourism, hotels, resorts, Inns, travel agents and more.

The other one that I joined is the Condé Nast Travel World Saver Congress. This is my third time at this conference and it feels like new every time because I can see and meet different people from around the world. People come to talk and discuss how the tourism industry can help and give back to the community and also protect the environment in a sustainable way.

We also went to the Singapore Botanic Garden and it made me really amazed how a small country like this can have the beautiful nature, as I never expected to see. Before my last day there we went to Universal Studio, it’s a great place to go for the roller coaster ride and more.

From this trip I feel like I learned more about the development, people, how tourism can save the world and more.
