Madame Butterfly is one of the restaurants that the Journeys Within team often recommends to guests looking to try well appointed Khmer food in a comfortable setting.  Though it is located on the busy Road 6, the restaurant is set back far enough from the road and surrounded by gardens lush enough to create a truly welcoming atmosphere.

The guides think it is a great opportunity to have dinner here and to talk about all the comments that they have heard from guests about the restaurant — the majority of which are positive.

We tried a set meal from the Khmer menu –starter, soup, a main and dessert were all included. The food was amazing — it was special to try Khmer food we know put on the plate with beautiful decoration.

We got a table in a private room which was a great atmosphere for all of us. Getting the opportunity to try the restaurant, the guides and I understood why so many of our guests enjoy their experience here.
