Hello from Siem Reap!
It is our fifth day here at Journeys Within and each day we enjoy watching the new developments on the construction. Very exciting news: the wall count is now at THREE NEW walls! In the five days since we arrived, the incredible crew has transformed the construction site into what definitely resembles a new bungalow and restaurant area. It is really coming together! After another delicious breakfast this morning, we walked around, with Tuna in tow, taking pictures and saying hi to the crew. The hammering, sawing, and drilling do not even bother us when we can associate it with the crew’s big smiles and friendly “sua s’deis.” We do not understand how they can work so hard covered completely from head to toe in clothing. It seems everyone has their specific job and they are very efficient at completing it.
